Grace Campbell Joins Norton: A Promising Winger Joins the Ranks

We are excited to announce the signing of Grace Campbell. A fast and skilful winger, Grace is another one of the brightest young players in the region making the switch to Norton to start her senior football journey.

Campbell started her football journey at the age of 9 with a newly formed Leven AFC, alongside some of the other new additions. In just two seasons, her contributions helped the team win the league and secure promotion to the Russell Foster Premier Division, alongside a Challenge Cup victory.

Grace's exceptional abilities saw her join Teesside RTC at U12, where she honed her skills for two seasons before a brief stint at Durham RTC at U14. She then returned to Teesside RTC for another two seasons, continually impressing with her performances. Last season due to the changes in the pathway set up, Grace played for both Teesside ETC and Stockton Town U16, competing in the JPL league and contributing to Stockton Town's Durham County FA Cup win.

Her impressive track record extends beyond club football. Grace has represented Stockton District SFA and Cleveland County SFA, showcasing her talent on broader stages. She has also been recognised at the national level, attending two England Talent ID events, the latest in May this year.

Additionally, she represented Middlesbrough FC in the U16 Premier League Kicks Tournament, where her team won the Regional Finals in Hull and reached the National Finals in Warwick, narrowly missing out on a place in the finals after a penalty shootout against Liverpool FC.

We are thrilled to have her join our ranks and look forward to her continued growth and success. Welcome to the team, Grace!
