Magpie Makes Move

A huge welcome to Norton to Cara Milne-Redhead, who has joined from FAWNL Northern Premier leaders Newcastle United on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year old has been on Tyneside since January 2023 when she joined the Lady Magpies from Coventry United and helped Becky Langley’s secure promotion.

The midfielder played her junior football in the North West where she represented both

Manchester City and Manchester United in the youth age groups. Milne-Redhead also represented Scotland at youth level.

Milne-Redhead has made 15 appearances for Newcastle this season, scoring 3 goals along the way. A player with a superb attitude and work rate and is highly rated on Tyneside.

We would like to thank Newcastle United for their efforts in getting the transfer process complete and due to this Cara is available for tomorrow’s FAWNL game against Leeds United.
