Jamieson Joins As Second Signing

We are pleased to announce our second signing of the summer as Lucy Jamieson switches Blue and White for Amber and Black.

Lucy is another player who is very familiar to both the First Team Manager and Reserves manager having started her footballing journey as a 9 year old at Stockton Town where the current coaches were part of the junior set up and both coached Lucy during her early footballing development.

Aged 12, Lucy moved from Stockton Town to Teesside RTC where she would play her football until the age of 15. At this time she made the switch from Teesside to Durham and continued within the RTC set up. She played representative school football for Cleveland Schools FA at both U14s and U16s while developing her game at both Teesside and Durham RTCs.

Jamieson progressed through the academy programme at Durham playing for the U23s before making the step up and playing FAWNL football for Durham Cestria. Lucy made the switch from Cestria to the Chester-le-Street Town. She made 23 appearances last season, getting one goal.

Lucy has had an impressive preseason, but it will be a little while before our fans get to see her in the Amber and Black as she embarks on a fantastic opportunity of coaching in America.
